LG India has today sent out media invites for an event on July 18, where it will be launching the X Screen. The smartphone was unveiled just ahead of the MWC 2016, alongside another smartphone called X Cam. The LG X Screen started rolling out globally earlier this year, and is finally set to be launched in India.
LG X Screen features
The talking point of LG’s X Screen smartphone is the additional display. Besides the primary 4.93-inch display, there is also a 1.76-inch secondary screen that sits near the earpiece on the front. This is basically an ‘Always On’ display, which lets users check time, date, battery status and notifications without having to turning on the phone.
For photography enthusiasts, there is a 13-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera up front. On the software front, it runs on Android Marshmallow.
